Asia Optical Co., Inc., and Myrias Optics, Inc., have teamed up to provide advanced optical systems based on all-inorganic nanoimprinted metaoptics. On display at SPIE was a diffractive dot projector which integrates the collimating lenses and diffractive elements from conventional systems into a single optic, which dramatically reduced overall complexity and package height while providing superior FOV, dot count, and efficiency.
